About 21o5...
2105 Interiors is a London based spatial design studio born out of a belief that every space holds untapped potential.
Behind the studio is Kristiana Genca, a spatial designer and consultant driven by a deep interest in reuse, preservation and the appreciation of what already exists. The practice approaches design as a process of careful observation, focusing on bringing out the potential of what is already there rather than replacing it.
With a background in interior architecture and design, the studio’s work has evolved beyond purely domestic interiors toward broader questions of space, context and longevity. Emphasis is placed on how buildings and places can be reimagined without erasing their history, prioritising reuse and long-term relevance over short-term solutions.
Kristiana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from Ravensbourne University London and a Master’s degree in Interior Design from the Royal College of Art, and is an Associate Member of the British Institute of Interior Design.
Alongside design-led work, 2105 Interiors develops community-focused projects and workshops that invite people to see overlooked spaces differently and consider alternative futures for them.

Our manifesto...
" The best is good enough "
We care about what spaces can do, not about doing interiors on autopilot.
2105 Interiors believes that the most meaningful spaces are not created through excess, but through care.
“The best” is not the most expensive solution, the most dramatic transformation, or the loudest gesture. The best is what serves the people who inhabit a space, respects its wider context and remains relevant over time.
The best is good enough because longevity matters.
Because restraint endures longer than spectacle.
Design is not about constant replacement, trend-chasing or starting from scratch. Even new buildings begin with reference - to place, history, landscape, culture or the people who will inhabit them. Every space exists within a wider story.
At 2105 Interiors, design is approached as a dialogue rather than a monologue: between past and present, between people and spaces, and between people themselves. Listening is as important as intervening.
The studio advocates for the reuse of buildings, interiors and any built environment that is often overlooked, undervalued or written off. All spaces hold potential - whether historically significant or entirely ordinary. A simple barn in a rural landscape or a neglected corner of a dense city. Potential does not belong only to landmarks.
Reimagining a space is not about erasing what came before, but about allowing it to evolve without losing its essence. Transformation is understood as a continuous process - one thing ending so another can begin - where change feels intentional rather than forceful, and additions feel earned rather than imposed. Nothing is wasted - it is carried forward in another form.
2105 Interiors is less interested in doing interiors and more interested in what interiors can do.
Spaces influence how people feel, behave and relate to one another. They regulate emotion, support daily rituals and offer grounding and clarity. A home is not a monument. It is not a performance. It is not a demonstration of success.
A home is a physical reflection of inner life and relationships - with oneself and with others. Even when unintentional, spaces reveal patterns: control or openness, avoidance or care, performance or truth. Often, people begin changing their homes when something else in life is shifting. Space responds to what words sometimes avoid.
Design becomes most meaningful when it helps people create spaces that hold them, rather than spaces that conceal discomfort behind expensive finishes.
Spatial design is not decoration, and it is not a weekend experiment. It carries responsibility - to structure, proportion, material behaviour, light, context and human use. Because spaces hold power, designers are accountable for the environments they create.
Materials matter. Truth matters. Authenticity matters.
Performative spaces often reflect performative intentions. Timeless spaces are rooted in honesty - in natural materials, thoughtful decisions and respect for how people truly live rather than how they wish to appear.
For 2105 Interiors, the best is:
truthful, authentic, natural, grounded, restrained, long-lasting, respectful of people, place and time.
And that is enough.
