Measuring guide
To create a tailored design for your space, accurate measurements are essential. Please follow this guide to measure your room(s) and provide the necessary details for our team to design a space that meets your needs perfectly.
GENERAL ROOM MEASUREMENTS
Room Length and Width: Measure the total length and width of the room, wall to wall, at floor level. Record these measurements in two places if the room isn't perfectly square or rectangular.

Room Height: Measure the height from the floor to the ceiling in several locations to account for any variations.
WINDOWS
Window Width and Height: Measure the width of each window from edge to edge, and the height from the top of the window frame to the bottom. Include the window frame in your measurement.

Distance from Floor: Measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the window frame.
​
Distance to Corners or Adjacent Walls: Measure how far the window is from the nearest wall or corner for precise placement.
DOORS
Door Width and Height: Measure the door's width and height, including the frame.

Swing Direction: Note whether the door opens inward or outward, and in which direction (left or right).
​
Distance from Corners or Walls: Measure the space from the edge of the door to the nearest wall or corner.
BUILT-INS & FIXTURES
Fireplaces, Shelving, and Cabinets: Measure the height, width, and depth of any built-ins like fireplaces, shelves, or cabinetry. Record the distance from these elements to adjacent walls or windows.
ELECTRICAL OUTLETS & SWITCHES
Outlet Locations: Note the location of electrical outlets on each wall and measure their distance from the floor.

Light Switches: Record the height and placement of any light switches.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Measure must be submitted in centimetres.

​If you have an existing floor plan, feel free to submit it alongside your measurements for additional clarity.
